Cooks Valley Cemetery Meeting

Chairman Darrel Fehr called the annual cemetery meeting to order on October 20, 2014 at 8:00 pm.  Cemetery committee present:  Darrel Fehr and John Sykora.  Delegation present: Victoria Trinko, Judy and Harry Prince.   

Darrel Fehr made a motion to accept and place on file the minutes of the July 8, 2013 Cooks Valley Cemetery meeting.  John Sykora seconded the motion.  The motion passed 2-0. 

Discussion and action on maintenance and funding for the upkeep of the Cooks Valley Cemetery:  There was more mowing this year due to the amount of rainfall.  Harry Prince refilled the sink hole that keeps occurring in the cemetery.  The stones and fence are in good condition. Harry Prince has maintained the cemetery in fine condition

Discussion and possible action on the cost of a cemetery plot for residents, Wisconsin residents and out-of-state petitioners:  Darrel Fehr made a motion to set cemetery plots costs at $300.00 for residents of the Town of Cooks Valley, $450.00 for Wisconsin residents, and $1000.00 for out-of-state petitioners.  John Sykora seconded the motion.  The motion carried 2-0. 

John Sykora made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 9:45 pm. Darrel Fehr seconded the motion.  The motion carried 2-0.
